Operating Throughout the Covid-19 Alert Levels in Auckland

Following the Government Announcement last night, headed by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. From 14 February 2020, Auckland moved to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 as of 11:59pm until midnight 17 February 2021. Under Alert Level 3 conditions, our business is unfortunately required to close. However, we can continue to take future bookings and help your find your perfect cruise via email, telephone or via our online booking system. With the changing Covid-19 Alert Levels in the Auckland Region and restrictions in place, we would like to outline how our business operates at each level for transparency with our customers.

Covid Alert Level 1

  • Under Alert Level 1, our business is open and operating as usual.
  • Under this Alert Level there are no legal requirements, however we will continue to operate in a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Although not required, we will continue to display a Covid-19 QR code on-board for our guests.
  • We will ensure our staff partake in regular hand washing while maintaining good hygiene.

Covid Alert Level 2

  • Under these conditions, our business is able to remain open. However, we legally must follow public health rules. On-board we will maintain our high standard hygiene measures. Including handwashing and regularly disinfecting surfaces.
  • Gatherings of upto 100 people can safely go ahead under this Alert Level. Our private charter can accommodate upto 50.
  • When our clients come on-board, we will encourage them to scan in using the officially COVID-19 tracer app via our QR code. If the customers are unable to scan, we will use other methods of collecting customer details.
  • On-board we will encourage 1 metre physical distancing between attendee groups.
  • Hand sanitiser and wipes will be readily available on-board.
  • Masks are optional on-board under Alert Level 2.
  • We ask that if you are unwell, you do not continue with your cruise booking. We will work with you to re-schedule your date.

Covid Alert Level 3

  • Unfortunately our business is unable to operate under this Alert Level for private and package charters.
  • The exception to this is that we can host weddings of up to 10 guests only.
  • Any cruise booked while Auckland or New Zealand are under Alert Level 3 will be offered an alternative future date.

  • We are happy to continue taking phone calls and discussing future bookings.

Covid Alert Level 4

  • Our business is unable to operate under Alert Level 4 conditions.
  • We are happy to continue taking phone calls and discussing future bookings.
  • Any cruise booked while Auckland or New Zealand are under Alert Level 4 will be offered an alternative future date.

Covid-19 Refund Policy

For further transparency, we have created a simple COVID-19 refund policy.

Where the New Zealand Covid-19 Alert Level prevents us from operating, a refund of all monies paid by the customer will be given. This applies only if your cruise date falls on a day that we are unable to operate. If you would prefer to move your cruise to a future date, that can also be arranged.

No refund will be given if the customer is unable to attend their cruise while the event is legally allowed to go ahead. However, we may be able to work with you to re-schedule for a better suited date.
